Soft Washing or Pressure Washing
Pressure washing or Soft Washing? (We do both)
Pelican Exterior Washing uses two washing methods to clean different kinds of surfaces; Pressure washing and soft washing. (Many times we combine the two.)
Power Washing – The pressure washing method uses a high-pressure and water flow to blast contaminants and debris off of surfaces. Power washing is generally used for cleaning hard surfaces like concrete, bricks, cinder blocks, pavers. Using too much pressure or the incorrect pressure tips can damage even hard cementitious surfaces. We often use pressure washing in conjunction with soft washing.
Soft Washing – Soft washing is a safe, effective and efficient method to clean most surfaces. Power washing should be used only on hard surfaces such as concrete, pavers and brick, because high pressure will damage many surfaces.
